Austin Peay State University, Parking & Transportation Expansion

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee
Client: Tennessee Board of Regents

Lose & Associates was selected to provide civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the Austin Peay State University Parking and Transportation project in 2007. Services included grading and paving four existing gravel parking lots and an asphalt overlay, and the striping of an additional lot, approximately 3.35 acres, located within the campus. The layout of each parking lot was evaluated for efficiency of spaces, pedestrian connectivity and safety. Pervious parking bays were utilized on a portion of the North 8th Street lot to mitigate stormwater runoff. The four existing gravel lots, roughly 5 acres, converted to 476 designated spaces once paved. Landscape, irrigation and lighting plans were also prepared for each lot.

Lose & Associates was again selected to provide civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the Austin Peay State University Parking and Transportation Expansion project in 2010. Services included site layout, grading and drainage for a 216 space parking lot located at the intersection of College Street and Ford Street. Landscape, irrigation, structural design and lighting plans were also prepared for each lot.
