Bel Air Providence at Beckwith

Location: Lebanon and Mount Juliet, Tennessee
Client: American Communities

Located in western Wilson County, 20 miles east of downtown Nashville, this 500 +/- acre site will feature a mixture of high-quality, mixed-use development and multiple residential components.

In 2011, Lose & Associates, Inc. was hired to facilitate the annexation, rezoning and entitlement process for the proposed 216 acres located in Lebanon, Tennessee, through the use of Specific Plan zoning. By utilizing form-based code, The Village Specific Plan addresses the relationship between buildings and the public realm by regulating the character and layout of buildings, roads and sidewalks.

Bel Air Providence at Beckwith will be a great extension of an already successful Providence community and will provide a sustaining link between the two. The proposed extension of the multi-use trail will continue east toward Beckwith Road and meander through Bel Air Providence to the proposed 27 acre park and Lifestyle Center. The extensive trail network will provide trail destinations such as places for bird watching, a serenity garden encompassing a historic grave site, a playground and multi-use ball fields.
