Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Transportation, Parking, & Hydrology/Hydraulics Study
Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Client: Tennessee Board of Regents
Lose & Associates, Inc. was contracted in September 2003 to perform a hydrology and hydraulics study for the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) campus. The campus and its immediate surrounding areas were the focus of the report. The scope of the study was to evaluate the effects of future campus development on the existing drainage facilities and make recommendations for mitigation of those effects. Additionally, this study made general recommendations on compliance with anticipated construction storm water regulations for future construction projects.
In June of 2011, Lose & Associates, Inc. was contracted to perform an update to the hydrology and hydraulics study to analyze “as-built” conditions of the drainage improvements made on campus since the release of the initial report.
