Since 2003 Lose & Associates has teamed with Middle Tennessee State University in the planning, design and construction of numerous improvement projects. The Lose & Associates Civil Engineering Division has led a multi-disciplinary team on this project which has included: with the preparation of a Parking and Transportation Master Plan, campus-wide hydrology/hydraulics study and construction documents for three phases of construction. Phase One of this project resulted in the construction of a 1,400+ space pervious concrete parking lot, the largest pervious concrete parking lot in the state at the time. Phase Two included the construction of one of the first two-lane roundabouts in the state as well as a new eastern entry into campus. The Phase Two project was awarded the 2009 American Council of Engineering Companies of Tennessee Engineering Excellence Honor Award. Phase Three resulted in the construction of a new roundabout and a new northern entry into campus.
