Vehicular Wayfinding Signage Plan

Location: Cary, North Carolina
Client: Town of Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Dept.

Lose & Associates was hired to design a vehicular wayfinding signage package to direct Town visitors to park facilities.  The North Carolina DOT manages all ROW in the state outside of local residential roads, and coordinating the signage package with new federal and state regulations was an essential component of the project.  Furthermore, the Town hired a separate design firm to coordinate development of a wayfinding package for the historic downtown district.  Lose staff were asked to coordinate with the downtown design team to integrate the park wayfinding plan and downtown plan into one cohesive package.  The resulting plan contains an overall design standard, as well as, detailed location plans and legends to guide phased installation over the next several years.
