Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Client: Green & Little, L.P.
Started in 1984, Village Green was the first horizontal mixed use planned unit development (PUD) built in Gallatin, Tennessee. Lose & Associates led the land planning process through rezoning for this 700 plus acre development, which is now home to the Sumner County Government Complex, Village Green Apartments and several national retailers, restaurants, banks and hotels (including Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant, Wal-Mart, O’Charley’s, Regions Bank, and Hampton Inn). Lose & Associates provided land planning, site engineering, storm water design and developed signage standards for the project. This development has had a significant impact on the City of Gallatin as an employment and economic center. It was guided by the client’s philosophy that high quality projects yield a higher return – a philosophy that was validated by this project’s enormous success.
